Second Screen developed by Infostrada wins prestigious EPFL award
European recognition for innovative football fan engagement tool

SummaryEredivisie Live Sidekick, the Infostrada Sports Group (ISG) developed second screen application for the Dutch Premier League, has won the golden EPFL Best Practice Award for Media and Marketing. The EPFL awards are a yearly prize awarded by the Association of European Professional Football Leagues. The management of Eredivisie Live has received the prize during an award ceremony in Edinburgh.
EredivisieLive Sidekick is a Second Screen application allows football fans to interact during the matches of the Dutch Premier League. Key features include game statistics, player analysis, social media, heat maps and a range of facts and figures, all powered by the powerful live statistics service of ISG.
Eredivisie Live Sidekick allows fans to share their opinions through social media, predict match results and to directly comment on the actions and decisions made on the field. The application has been developed by ISG, making extensive use of the tremendous amount of statistic sports data available in ISG’s databases.
