dock10, the MediaCityUK based media services provider and Infostrada, the global media and technology provider, today have announced the formation of a strategic joint venture to deliver a revolutionary set of cloud-based production and distribution services to the UK media industry.

Responding to the challenges of the UK broadcast industry, the joint venture partners have developed a range of secure cloud based services set to transform content production and management by minimising capital requirements and putting control back in the hands of the user. Services include remote content editing, media archiving and a revolutionary approach to content ingest. These services, aimed at UK broadcasters, production companies and post facilities, will be marketed by dock10 and are to include Infostrada’s internationally acclaimed CentralParq workflow- and media asset management platform.

The creative technology division of Infostrada, formerly known as ParkPost, has been delivering revolutionary cloud-based postproduction and distribution services in Continental Europe for the past 7 years, including the pioneering concept of cloud-based craft editing and remote archive management.
